I LOVE the weather. Rain is just so....rainy.

How is everyone doin lately? I sure dont know, cause i dont really talk to anyone. I hope everyone is doing well.

Work is going really well. Ive been really fulfilling my job since i got the promotion to Help Center 3. I found out chad and mike didnt hire me to answer phones and help with customer service stuff, they hired me to do more technical work. Heres what ive been working on so far.

#1. New employee(and refresh info for current employee) handbook. This thing is to ITS what the lab team handbook was to RCC. Back when donna and i worked on that thing, that was a beast to make. But, its going to be good. Its already almost 30 pages and has lots of good info, so well see what happens.
#2. Being the contact support for high level OS X service and support. This is what takes up the most time. Most OS X questions that come in to the TSC come to me. If i dont know the answer, its my job to look them up, research it and find out how to solve the problem. I love doing this part. Its so awesome.
#3. Train the TSC staff on new mac updates. Stay on top of hardware and software and keep them in the loop.
#4. Create a CD that can boot into OS 9 and to a Windows command line that also has all of our disc recovery tools on it for future use.
#5. Run OS X Certification training for the Technical Support Specialists. I find this funny because...a) im a student training full time employees. b) im not apple certified and c)i have no idea about apple certification. Getting stuff for the service and support exam is actually going to be really easy, however, finding out that ill be doing the training, yet the university may not pay to have me certified is kind of shitty. But, were working on that ;-)

Thats it for now, but its a pretty healthy list for a student employee.

Otherwise, ive been pretty tame. Katie got a chance to call me today, a very short call, but it was nice to hear her voice for a bit. Man i miss her.

Red came in to work tonite to see me. Always nice to see her.

Now, work is almost over, so its going to be time to go home, make some dinner, then :moof: some more. I love the mac irc channel...hehehe. How else would i get an alpha build of iTunes for Windows. Pretty slick.

3 Weeks of Crazy DMB Madness starts next tuesday. Can you feel it? Can you feel it?

Oh, i can.

10 days untill WWDC. Mmmmmm....that deserves a :moof:

Talk to you all...maybe...or sometime...or something.
