Quick FYI Asros - if you get the Transformers DVD at Wal-Mart it comes with a bonus 19 minute prelude cartoon.
Got it on hddvd, which stupid walmart doesnt carry. They went exclusive blu ray for some dumbass reason...or at least thats what i read a while back.
I have to say... after watching it for the first time in today, I am sorry for adamantly refusing to see it in a theater. I'm 35 - I grew up with the Transformers, GI Joe, Robotech, et. al. in the 80s. And I wasn't happy with a lot of the changes I'd heard they were making or with some of the character designs.
I regret that now. It rocked. I was surprised that it even made me emotional in a couple of parts. Bay uses that sort of blatant sentimentality in a lot of his flicks but damnit it's effective.
Peter Cullen just plain damn kicks ass.
