Heartbreaking

I remember hearing about this when he did this back last year, but never saw the lecture. When i heard he died today, i took the time to listen to all 2 hours of it and its one of the most touching things ive ever heard.

Its terrible to see such a life taken by cancer. Rest in peace Randy, from someone who never met you, you touched me with your incredible way with words.

iPhone 2.0 Firmware

Installed. Messing with apps. The ability to take screenshots is pretty cool.(hold home button and press power switch until the screen flashes. It saves it in your camera roll).

More thought soon.

Out With The Old, In With The New

Well .mac, we had a good run. You werent the cheapest, you werent the most feature laden, but you were damn reliable and im glad i signed up for it on the first day.

FYI, .mac users...

MobileMe Launch
7/9/2008, 6pm-12am PT

As part of the MobileMe launch, www.mac.com will be taken offline at 6pm PT on Wednesday, July 9th.

Members will be unable to access www.mac.com or any .Mac services during this time with the exception of .Mac Mail accessed via a desktop application, iPhone, or iPod touch.

MobileMe will be available as soon as possible during this maintenance window.

Cant wait to play with it, even though most of the changes have been in use with .mac for a while. The "exchange" system will sure be nice, though.

RIP .mac
Long Live Mobileme.

Apple .Mac Welcome

More Dumb Polls

For the record, you ignorant idiots...

"Recession - A period of general economic decline; specifically, a decline in GDP for two or more consecutive quarters."

We havent even had ONE QUARTER OF ECONOMIC DECLINE. Every quarter has been growth, maybe small growth, but still growth.

Im so sick of this recession bullshit.

ARGH.

Starting Tuesday, shoppers in Cook County will notice an additional bite at the cash register. Chicago shoppers will pay a 10.25 percent tax on some items -- higher than in any other major city in the United States.
